Empowering Young Minds: Stress Management Class by Hopeful Horizons at Unnati Foundation

At Hopeful Horizons, we believe that mental health support should begin early and be accessible to all—especially young minds navigating the challenges of school, adolescence, and the fast-paced world around them.

As part of our ongoing commitment to community wellbeing, we recently partnered with Unnati Foundation to conduct an interactive Stress Management Class for Students. The session was designed specifically for school-aged youth, aiming to equip them with practical tools to manage academic pressures, emotional stress, and everyday anxieties.

Held at Unnati Foundation’s learning center, the class was led by our experienced mental health professionals who guided students through a series of engaging activities and conversations. The session focused on helping students understand:

  • What stress is and how it affects the mind and body

  • Simple breathing and grounding techniques

  • Time management and study-life balance

  • How to talk about emotions and seek support when needed

Through group discussions, relaxation exercises, and storytelling, the students gained a deeper awareness of their mental health and the importance of self-care. We were inspired by the openness and curiosity the students brought to the session.

This initiative is one of many steps Hopeful Horizons is taking to support youth mental health and promote emotional resilience in schools and learning communities. We look forward to continued collaboration with Unnati foundation to foster healthier futures for all.
