Hopeful Horizons Nepal, in partnership with Global Shapers Nepal, hosted online session “Finding Balance in Uncertain Times” on 18th September, aimed at helping individuals manage stress, regulate emotions, and build resilience in today’s fast-paced world.
Global Shapers Nepal, part of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community, brings together young leaders driving positive change. Through this collaboration, both organizations worked to create an accessible platform for mental health awareness, practical guidance, and community support.
During the session, participants learned evidence-based techniques to improve well-being, including:
Grounding and breathwork exercises for calming the mind
Tools to manage spiraling thoughts and reduce anxiety
Behavioral Activation strategies to encourage purposeful actions that uplift mood
Simple CBT-based techniques to shift perspective and foster positive thinking
The session concluded with an optional Q&A, allowing participants to interact with mental health professionals and gain personalized guidance.
