As part of our ongoing commitment to community service, the Hopeful Horizons team recently visited Manav Kalyan Samaj in Kavre to provide care and support for needy and homeless individuals. Manav Kalyan Samaj has long been a sanctuary for those rescued from difficult circumstances, offering them a safe and nurturing home environment.
The founder, Sumitra Chualagain, is an inspiring personality and a recognized name in the field of social service for over 15 years. Her dedication and tireless efforts have transformed the lives of countless individuals in need. During our visit, we were deeply impressed by the organization’s holistic approach, which not only provides shelter but also emotional support and a sense of belonging to those under their care.
An important initiative of Manav Kalyan Samaj is their advocacy for government recognition of the new surname “Manav” for homeless individuals and children born out of difficult circumstances. This step provides dignity and identity to those who are often marginalized by society.
Our team at Hopeful Horizons is honored to contribute to this noble cause. We believe that community service is not just an act of giving—it is a bridge that connects us with the stories, struggles, and hopes of people around us. Together, we can help create a society where every individual feels valued and supported.
